Highway 20, North Cascade National Park

I think this route is a no-brainer. It goes through a national park (good stamping), heads right into eastern Washington (dry weather, open roads) and leads right to the Oakanagan Valley and Highlands which I've always wanted to see. It also puts us very close to BC so Andrew can visit the wife-land. I have to do some more research but I believe this area is also rich in hot springs and fishing. I will definitely have a rod and reel this trip.

Hwy 20 has a reputation as an excellent motorcycle road. I think heading north out of Seattle and starting a clock wise tour of the state with this road is a good framework. We can finish up the loop at Rainier National Park where the Seattle and Portland contingents could diverge.
